Botany 101 - A Day Tour at Manila Seedling Bank Foundation Inc.

So I just got home from a little botanical trip at Manila Seedling Bank Foundation Inc. This is for our project in Plant Systematics.

This peaceful, cool and green foundation is located at the corner of Quezon Avenue and EDSA, just across the Centris Station. If you're coming from Manila, you may take a jeep bound to Fairview-MRT Highway, or PHILCOA-MRT Highway, never ride a jeep that would go Ilalim.

I reached the place by 8:10 AM, the entrance is free. Though you must bring plenty of cash if you're planning to buy plant seedlings. The prices may range from 15 pesos for the small cacti, or 1500 pesos for the lovely gigantic flowering plants.

We did nothing but capture different plant species. The following are some of the plants you'll meet at the foundation:
